Technopark Batik

The development of the techno park area of Pekalongan Batik is one part of the area development concept based technology. That is the area which has a dimensioned economic development with science and technology centers that support the acceleration of the innovation development .

Background

1. Unhealthy competition especially in the batik design nationally and internationally
2. Declining competitiveness of batik (an expensive cost of goods because of all component of goods are from overseas)
3. Lack of Innovation batik products
4. Yet the existence of effective application of technology in the production of batik.

Vision of Batik Technopark of Pekalongan City

Make the Pekalongan district-based technology, environmentally conducive world class to increase the competitiveness and the preservation of world cultural heritage batik.

The Purpose Of Developing Teknopolitan Batik:

1. Creating an environment conducive to collaboration among the academic community, business, Government and community (ABG + C) through research activities, an engineering and development, increased production, quality, added value and competitiveness.
2. Organize the functions and institutional area in order to realize the development of the town as a town of Pekalongan intelligent (smart city).
3. Improve the quality and effectiveness of human resource utilization based technology.
